We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and bodywork, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including collision damage, dents, and scratches.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal techniques to repair or replace damaged parts.
Weld components as necessary to restore structural integrity.
Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet quality standards.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components for repair or replacement.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify additional repair needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot automotive issues.
Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and materials.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Ability to undergo a criminal background check.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
