Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Duties

Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Conduct electrical system repairs, including wiring, batteries, and lighting systems.
Maintain detailed records of services performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment.
Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Suspend operations when necessary to address safety concerns or equipment malfunctions.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for automotive repair.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to perform repairs on them.
Experience in automotive repair with a focus on maintaining various types of vehicles.
Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs.
Excellent communication skills to effectively transmit information to team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
