Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, particularly with GM,Ford,Dodge,all vehicles. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency in using power tools and hand tools, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Lead Mechanic, you will oversee a team of mechanics, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair powertrain issues and automotive electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs and installations.
Weld components as necessary for vehicle repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanic, with specific expertise in powertrain system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
On call
Rotating weekends
