Our growing auto repair shop seeks a mechanic to join our talented team of auto mechanics and service technicians. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from electronic systems to air conditioning units. Responsibilities:

Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work
Ensure accurate record-keeping for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history
Encourage and facilitate preventive maintenance work such as oil changes, air conditioning service, flushing, brake replacement, tire rotation, and more
Work with auto mechanic team members to determine vehicle problems and solutions

Efficiently Performing comprehensive repair work as identified.

Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
An associate's degree from a vocational or technical school and/or ASE certification are a plus
Required state-issued driver’s license
Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic
Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs

Ability to use SnapOn Modis, Launch & GM Tech II diagnostic equipment
A MVAC certification is a plus
Experience with Hunter Engineering Alignment Equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
