Royce Automotive is growing and seeking a professional, full-time Automotive technician.

Royce Automotive is a used car dealership and service shop located in Lancaster, PA. As a technician, you will work as part of our team to move cars through the repair process. Whether it’s getting a vehicle ready for sale or servicing customers’ vehicles, you will be diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure their safety & drivability.

Job Type: 1099 Contractor

As a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits. Compensation will be paid weekly via check. Mechanic will also have the opportunity to earn additional commission based on customers repairs.

Job Responsibilities of the Automotive Technician/Mechanic:

Perform prompt and accurate inspections, diagnoses and repairs.
Professionally communicate recommendations and diagnosis to managers or customers
Independently work through the process of diagnosing problems and completing the repair.
Work as part of our team moving vehicles through the repair process for resale.
Create estimates, order parts, and invoice customers.

Requirements of the Automotive Technician:

Minimum 5 years of automotive technician experience
Valid Driver’s license with a clean record
PA state inspection and emissions license. (Not required to start but must obtain within 60 days)
Must be able to drive manual transmissions
Must have your own tools
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
Must work well in a team environment
Must display good judgment
Must be honest
Must be willing to submit to criminal background check, motor vehicle report check
ASE Certifications preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
