Overview: We are seeking a skilled Smog Check Technician to join our team.

Smog Technician with 2 years experience. With star score more than .40 and no citations. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual who has a great attitude and willing to work hard.

- Needs to have amazing customer service to provide to our customers.

-Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment

-Maintaining accurate records of inspections

-Responsible for managing cash, delivering services with exceptional customer service, and maintaining the property, grounds, and equipment.

- Will have to take payments and keep records of receipts and VIR filed away accordingly.

-Responsible for keeping the shop area neat, and clean at all times

-Answer telephone calls and assist customers by answering any questions and/or addressing any concerns

-Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

- Manager experience is preferred

Job duties will include performing Smog Check Inspections on both the BAR 97 Machine (using the dynamometer when required) and the OBD II Inspection System (OIS).

Preferred candidates would possess a good STAR Program Report Card

What You’ll Bring:

Experience: 1 -2 years automotive retail experience preferred
Certifications/Licenses: Certification to perform California Smog tests and inspections
Valid driver’s license
Committed to excellent customer service
Ability to manage cash and non-cash payments

Pay is negotiable based on experience
