Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified technician to join our team at Mazda of Columbia in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay structure. As a certified technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality automotive repairs and services on Mazda, and other makes and models. This is an individual contributor role where you will work closely with a team of skilled technicians and service advisors.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive issues using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and recommended maintenance
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep up-to-date with Mazda training and certifications
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Must be a certified technician with previous experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop
- Extensive knowledge of automotive systems and technology, specifically with Mazda vehicles
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional training or certifications are a plus
