Job Summary:
The Service Manager at Seidel Hyundai is a Full Time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry located in Reading, Pennsylvania. This position will oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Service Manager will work closely with the sales team to provide customers with exceptional service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a base plus commission position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including managing technicians, service advisors, and other staff members
- Ensure that service appointments are scheduled and completed in a timely manner
- Work with the sales team to provide customers with exceptional service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies
- Ensure that all service records and paperwork are accurately completed and maintained
- Monitor and analyze service department performance to make necessary improvements and achieve sales goals
- Implement and maintain efficient processes and procedures to improve overall department efficiency
- Hire, train, and develop service department staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the auto industry
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in computer software and systems used in the service department
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
