Gregg Young Automotive Group is searching for a individual to become a member on our Fixed Operations TEAM as a Collision Technician at our Chevy dealership in Norwalk, IA.
o Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned!
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Repair or replace damaged components, parts, or systems.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Weld and solder sheet metal as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards.
- Team System- Heavy Areas, Flow department and Vehicle Analysis stage
o Requirements:
- *** I-CAR TRAINING AND OEM TRAINING PROVIDED ***
- Previous experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with hand tools and specialized equipment used in automotive repair.
- Experience with welding and soldering sheet metal is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
