RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general maintenance including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, all-wheel alignments, filter and fluid replacements, replace bulbs, wiper blades, tire repairs, etc.
- Adhere to the company’s code of conduct and code of ethics policies AT ALL TIMES
- Properly complete the service and/or repairs for which the technician is trained as assigned by management or their designated representative.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
- Participate in and utilize to the best of one’s abilities technical training as assigned by management.
- Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship.
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Maintain the workspace assigned in an organized and clean manner.
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
- Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
- Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.
- Show common courtesy to all customers and dealership personnel.
- Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
- Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
- Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
- Must be able to work weekends, overtime, extended hours as needed; Full time hourly associates are eligible for overtime pay.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Constantly position body and move in order to retrieve cars from parking lot, diagnose and repair vehicles; Detect and identify vehicle issues and shop safety concerns; Exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, 10lbs constantly); Operate tools and equipment; Repetitive motion* Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.

- Learn first-hand from senior technicians
- Work closely with senior technicians to perform customer, warranty, and internal repairs as needed
- Apprenticeship program repairs include, but are not limited to: engine repairs, transmission repairs, brakes, steering/suspension, under car, belts, drivetrain, electrical diagnostic and repairs, air conditioning and heating, etc.
- Extensive online, web-based training
