Sales Support Admin
Location: Nampa, ID, 83687
Support sales department by processing all sales paperwork, order and track customer purchases, and closely interact with sales staff. Navigate manufacturer’s ordering, tracking and processing systems as a key contact. Responsible for managing rental contracts, containing costs, tracking orders, and upkeep of fleet service. Align work with strategic goals and exhibit superior customer service. This is a full-time in office position.
Essential Functions – Sales Support
Order and track new and used equipment purchases which includes processing invoices, leases, and quotes.
Customer Service must be a key focus.
Submit customer credit applications, process documents and set up billing arrangements.
Work with manufacturers systems to track orders.
Order, track, and invoice material handling products. Process capacity plates and special-order requests.
Monitor production guidance and inventory. Order and manage stock on hand.
Notify dealer to procure and disperse equipment and materials.
Pilot the knowledge network used by dealerships across the country for communication and networking.
Attend training sessions, and continuously learn more about the sales industry
Assist in arranging transportation of Company vehicles and equipment.
Engage as an active member of the Sales Team, working to support the team’s objectives
Essential Functions – Rental Support
Manage rental contracts, billing procedures, inventory control, servicing of fleet, inspecting equipment, and assisting in audits.
Schedule all deliveries and pick-ups of customer and rental trucks.
Interact with customers to ensure understanding of customer’s needs and desires, take customer calls, and keep service manager apprised of significant customer concerns.
Demonstrate superior customer service, both internally and externally, and build long-term customer relationships. Stay appraised of customer’s changing needs, and the rental industry.
Meet with service staff as needed, provide training sessions, and continuously learn more about the rental industry.
Knowledge & Skills
Operations – Demonstrate understanding of sales techniques, and general business practices and processes.
Market – Good knowledge of rental equipment, service parts, and industrial equipment industry.
Service Orientation – Establish and maintain exceptional customer service both internally and externally. Effectively use a computer to enter, track and report data.
Planning and organizing – Prioritize and plan work activities, handle frequent interruptions, be organized, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate a willingness to meet performance expectations.
Business – Exhibit high attention to detail, punctuality, time management, filing, and organization. Excellent customer service, oral, and written communication.
Mathematical - Accurately calculate invoices, quotes, costs, percentages, discounts, and other amounts.
Organization – Ability to prioritize multiple priorities and manage time effectively; strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Technology – Demonstrate proficient computer skills, navigate the internet, and use / learn software.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. Due to the nature of the work environment, may be exposed to noise or odors related to equipment/forklift use in the warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for long periods of time, exert up to 20 pounds of pressure, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and leaning, spend considerable time viewing computer monitors (including repetitive motion and use of hands), focus on details, contact with clients in person (in and outside the office), via email and over the phone as necessary. PPE is to be always used as necessary. These requirements must be met with, or without, reasonable accommodation.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience in business coordination/administration/customer service preferred.
Prior experience with computers and digital information management.
Or, any combination of education and experience that is necessary to perform the essential job functions.
