Essential Functions
Repairs and maintains all company vehicles, buses, motor coaches and support equipment.
- Repair and inspect vehicles with an emphasis on preventive maintenance.
- Accurately record all work in fleet management software
- Ensures operation of maintenance equipmentby completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions and scheduling repairs. This includes all shop equipment and facility equipment.
- Maintains safe working conditionsby keeping areas of the shop clean and free of unneeded items.
- Conserves resourcesby using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Maintainsall buildings and grounds to maintain the Kobussen image.
- Contributes to team effortby accomplishing related results as needed.
- Snow removal. Assist with snow removal before and after scheduled shift.
- PAID training to learn how to drive a school bus.

Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver's license
Skills/Knowledge/Ability
- This job requires a combination of standing, sitting, climbing, bending and walking
- Job requires excellent visual and auditory skills for inspections and safety.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs at least once per day.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
