Perform inspections, diagnose, and perform mechanical adjustments, repairs and parts replacements for customer vehicles, company fleet vehicles and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic services through proficient use of electronic testing equipment
- Diagnose problems and estimate repair costs according to appropriate guidelines
- Perform minor electrical repairs (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)
- Specialized repair and replacement services to include: fuel injection systems, gas and diesel engines, on-board computer systems, and emission control systems
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on company vehicles, fleet trucks (i.e. mechanical work on brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, air conditioning, oil changes, tire balancing and rotation, replacing batteries, etc.)
- Source and order parts as needed.
- Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner.
- Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirements
- Complete PA Vehicle & Emissions Inspections
- Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures
- Overtime (more than 40 hours per week) and some weekends may be required at times as business needs dictate.
Job Requirements
Education & Specialized Knowledge
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record required, current CDL license with air brake certification preferred, willingness to acquire CDL if you do not have one.
- PA Vehicle & Emissions Inspection License
- Must have own tools,
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- ASE certification preferred.
- Experience 2-5 years automotive/mechanical work experience required.
- Diesel knowledge and experience preferred.
Physical Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information from schematics, technical manuals, technical drawings, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Basic Computer Skills (i.e. Windows based programs and email)
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Depending on the assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or ability to stand, walk, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights up to 100 pounds.
