Job Summary: As an Oil Change Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services on vehicles, focusing primarily on oil changes. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that vehicles receive efficient and thorough oil changes while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Perform oil changes and basic maintenance tasks on various makes and models of vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs and inform customers accordingly.
Replace oil filters and perform tire rotations as needed.
Check and top off fluid levels (coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid, etc.).
Conduct visual inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure safety compliance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns professionally.
Follow all safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as an automotive technician or oil change technician preferred.
Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if required by employer).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
