Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our team at Precision Body Shop & Detail in San Rafael, California. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive parts management, proficiency with the CCC estimating system, and expertise in using Excel spreadsheets. Fluency in Spanish is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the parts department operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
Utilize the CCC estimating system to manage parts orders and ensure alignment with repair estimates.
Maintain detailed and organized records of parts inventory using Excel spreadsheets.
Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate parts availability for ongoing repairs.
Develop and maintain relationships with parts suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
Monitor and manage parts inventory levels, conducting regular audits to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Address any issues related to parts quality, delivery, or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to parts.
Train and supervise parts department staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in automotive parts management, preferably in a body shop or similar setting.
Proficiency with the CCC estimating system.
Advanced skills in Excel for inventory management and reporting.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology.
Experience with supplier negotiations and contract management.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
