Additional eligibility requirements and details:

This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day

Shift: 7am- 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the prompt repair and maintenance of all LSG trucks, vehicles and fleet-related equipment. Duties involve upgrading, installation, repairs, and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules of all equipment. Duties could include fleet maintenance repairs and refurbishment. Works closely with CSC Maintenance/Facility Manager as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

**Attached description is not exclusive. In addition to listed duties, one must fulfill any reasonable request by management.

Perform corrective, preventative maintenance/repairs and diagnosing on Company vehicles including major repairs requiring a high level of skill/and special certifications

To Include- but not limited to:

Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair vehicle electrical systems to ensure proper operation

Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair diesel/gas vehicles

Engine diagnostics, repair, rebuild

Body/frame/fiberglass repair

MIG & ARC Welding

Ability to ensure proper operation/repair of:

o Alternator/Starter/Battery

o Brakes/suspension/steering

o Hydraulics

Ability to trend, track and follow preventative measures/schedule relating to all functions of company vehicles

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Consistent communication with supervisors including relevant issues relating to maintenance of company vehicles

Uphold company standards by maintaining a professional appearance

Job Qualifications (including but not limited to):

Must be detail oriented, with good organizational and communication skills
Must be able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and be on the move intermittently for shifts of at least 8 hours
Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing skills
Adaptability to frequently changing environments and deadlines
Ability to work in stressful situations and meet deadlines
Knowledge/Experience of and understand diagnostic software
Computer literate
3 Years related mechanical/electrical experience

Certification Requirements:

Obtain a commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) within 60 days of employment
Current A.S.E. or comparable certification and must be maintained during employment NOT MASTER TECH
Must be able to obtain SIDA clearance for operation on the AOA (Airport Operations Area)

Availability to work overtime as needed
Successful completion of background check, TSA check, and drug screen
Exposure to hot and cold temperatures and loud noises required
Successful completion of mechanic’s interview skills test
