Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our family owned business for over 22 years. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure they are running safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our service team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair complex problems
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs
Provide accurate estimates and obtain customer approval before performing repairs
Complete all repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the automotive industry
Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service
Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician
ASE certification in one or more areas (e.g. brakes, electrical, engine repair)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair preferred
Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Work is performed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including alternating weekends
