Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify necessary repairs.
- Interpret and utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Adhere to dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
- Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with auto estimating and dealership service procedures.
- Expertise in automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Certification as a Mechanic or completion of an automotive technology program is preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with hybrid vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of advanced vehicle technologies such as ADAS systems.
- ASE certifications in various automotive repair specialties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
