Automotive Technician Job Description

The Automotive Technician is committed to providing the highest quality of repairs and service necessary to satisfy the customer. They should be self-motivated, dependable, hard-working and work well in a team environment. They must be knowledgeable and have experience in areas covered by the ASE certification programs (Engine Repair,
Transmissions, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air
Conditioning and Engine Performance. This is a first shift position

Responsibilities:

Diagnosis of customer vehicles
Providing the highest quality repairs to customers' vehicles
Staying updated on most current technology, requirements and processes regarding automotive service and repair
The ability to manage your time to be ready to start and end at your regular scheduled times
Candidate will have related automotive repair experience
Some computer skills may be required
People skills; positive from beginning to end, ensure workflows are going smoothly and customer needs are prioritized, maintain customer satisfaction
Document all repairs and orders properly
Know all of regulations applicable to this industry; required to understand and keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations that affect the operation
Must have own tools and a current Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $37.00 per hour
