Job Description

Accel Auto Care is looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be the one to ensure the functionality of vehicles and do all repairs according to specifications. Must be well-versed in various mechanical processes and have excellent communication skills. Be passionate about your work and able to help customers with their questions and guarantee their satisfaction.

Pay: Based upon experience

Responsibilities

Test vehicles for functionality (engine, transmission, suspension)
Conduct repairs using proper tools and materials
Repair or replace defective electrical or hydraulic components
Provide accurate quotes for future repairs or other services (e.g. brake replacement)
Keep records of work performed, prices, customers’ preferences, etc.
Keep updated records of work orders and vehicle repair activities
Maintain equipment in good condition
Communicate effectively with customers (e.g. telling them about new products)

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as auto mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical knowledge and repair methods
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and components
Ability to handle all types of vehicles (light to heavy weight) with attention to quality (heavy equipment not included)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
