About Us
Jason Simms loves a challenge and fulfills his desire to help people by fixing cars. He started out as an automotive parts-getter, then worked his way up through the service ranks while attending classes in auto repair and business management. All of this earned him extensive experience in the automotive repair industry.
Jason worked as a technician and shop foreman/manager for a very reputable, long-established independent repair facility in San Francisco. From there his ultimate dream of owning his own repair shop finally came true with the opening of Kensington Service Station in 2010. Today Jason is focused on making Argonaut Garage, established in 2016, the most sought-after repair shop in the East Bay. He’s well on his way to reaching this goal, having been voted several times as a neighborhood favorite on Nextdoor.
Jason’s resume includes multiple ASE certifications, along with certificates ranging from tire service to hybrid car maintenance. In his off time, Jason enjoys cycling, remodeling his home and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Jessie, and his two young sons, Odin and Max.
